Welcome to INVITATIONS, a publication of noticings that arouse curiosity + conversation, distilled through the lens of the human experience in cycle with Earth’s natural rhythms. Sharing the tender parts of how we survive and thrive in our belonging in a hurried world. Unlearning the over culture of individualism, together, these gentle invitations are welcoming ways to connect our physical and spiritual realms deeper to ourselves, the land, and to one another.
I am Holly Morgan, a mother, poet, and lifelong learner and tinker-er. Along with my family, I enjoy living in ritual with the seasons and cycles of the natural world in our community on the rolling ridges, prairies, and eskers of the Kettle Moraine Forest in Wisconsin. This land has long been cared for by and home to the Potawatomi, Menominee, and Ho-Chunk peoples.
My writing is an offering of the observations of my humanity woven into the natural world and welcomes curiosity and reflection in matters of the mind + heart. The stories shared here are of the most tender parts of me, how I have moved through this lifetime in the truest way I know how. This is your invitation to come along on journeys of your own remembering.
