Thank you for this Holly. I try to stay very connected to the seasons and my work and life has me outside a lot. The change of season always reminds me of my own past seasons of life, lessons I've learned and lessons I still can learn. Thanks for sharing your own truth and wisdoms
Holly, you write so honestly and beautifully..it’s gut-wrenching and comforting. Please keep sharing. It’s all so relatable. I feel your grief and am also marveling at all that the changing of seasons provides us.
Hi! I received your post in an email on Monday morning. I am not subscribed to you, I signed up once and I don’t normally get that any emails from substack.
I saw the title and I thought I best read it. On Sunday, I had received the news that my Dad was being put in to palliative care after a very long battle with a brain disease.
When I opened your article, an eerie feeling came over me. I saw the crows on your logo. They are a bird I had been associating with my Dad for a while now.
Half an hour after reading, I got the news that my Dad had passed in the night.
Thank you for your post, I really feel it helped me before the news I had been waiting so long to hear and dreaded all at once.
such a timely message 💌 thank you for your words!
